A YEAR IN REVIEW | TWENTY EIGHTEEN

Monday, December 31, 2018

This year has been quite a big year for me and as always I'm going to round it up like I've done the past three years.

THIS YEAR IN 3 WORDS
Exciting - worrisome - right

Exciting because several big things happened this year. I graduated, got my first real adult job and moved back to my hometown.

Worrisome because with graduating, getting a job and moving, all around the same time, comes a lot of worrying about economy, insurances, bills and all of those important things. It's been a puzzle trying to figure everything out, because everything changes when you go from being a student to being a full on grown-up.

Right because my life at the moment feels right. I feel like everything I've worked for has turned out right.

TOP FIVE HIGHLIGHTS
  • Graduating and becoming an authorized Radiographer.
  • Moving back to Horsens again, where I grew up, was something I was hoping for all throughout my time in Odense, where I studied. For it to come true and for me to be living in a big apartment in the city center, is absolutely a highlight.
  • Starting my first adult job at my hometowns hospital and working at the radiology department. I'm so happy with my job and get so much gratification from the work I do and the people I meet everyday.
  • Another highlight of the year was this summer, when my mom and I one day and my bestie and I the next day, went to Zulu Summerbio. An outdoor movie watching event, where you bring all your picnic essentials and sit in a grassy area, near the water and watch a movie outdoors at night. This summer we had the best weather in Denmark for an event like this and it was such a lovely experience.
  • Celebrating my birthday at my place for the first time, with my family and friends. Woohoo now I'm 25! I've never been able to celebrate my birthday at my place before, because my last apartment was so small, it comfortably only fitted 5 people. Now in my new apartment there's plenty of space for everyone.

THINGS TO WORK ON IN 2019
Finding more time to spend with my friends.
Planning small weekend trips.
Spending less money.
Being the best version of myself.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
