PACKING BOXES & LIVING IN A MOVING MESS

Saturday, May 12, 2018

Okay... So last time I moved I didn't own as many things as I do now, so how am I going to pack all my things down?!

In the beginning of May I slowly started thinking about packing some of my "I-only-use-this-once-a-year" items into moving boxes, to get a head start on the packing. This is the thing I've figured out was a good choice, because I'm not feeling overwhelmed or stressed at all!

And I've so far only packed those items of my apartment down and already used up a third of all the moving boxes, so that's great.. It's gonna be fun to see how I'm going to be able to pack my kitchen and beauty products away.
I definitely have no idea what the "right way" to pack is, but one thing I do know is that you need lots of used newspapers to wrap around all of your plates, glasses and those breakable items. This brought up another dilemma, because I don't get any newspapers, so I've been asking people I know for newpapers and luckily it looks like I have a deal!

Even though I'm not stressed about the packing, lot's of other things have to be done before I move. One major thing is to hand in our bachelor's thesis, which we are slowly nearing the end of, YES!!! Then there are some boring things like, changing insurances, changing doctors, fixing taxes, ordering cable tv and internet and so on... But other than that, I'm probably one of the only people who actually enjoys moving and doesn't get stressed about it. There's just something fun and exciting about switching up your living situation and because I'm moving back home to my childhood city, it's even more exciting!
I'll be moving in about 3 weeks and I've thought of writing some posts and sharing some photos of the process, so let me know if that would be interesting for you guys and if you later on in the year would like a new apartment tour?
Have a lovely weekend <3
