GROCERY LIST & WHAT I EAT FOR WEIGHT LOSS

I have slowly been losing some weight over the past 2 months and I wanted to share what I've been eating, if any of you are trying to live a healthier life too.

GROCERY LIST:
- Lunch meat
- Parmesan
- Milk
- Eggs
- Avocado
- Potatoes
- Bananas
- Carrots
- Lemons
- Rye bread
- Oats
- Rice crackers
- Macha powder
- Peanut butter
- Whole wheat bread
- Whole wheat pasta
- Tomato sauce

Most of these items last me for about a week or more, except for milk, which I buy more of throughout the week.





WHAT I EAT IN A WEEKDAY:
For breakfast I make a bowl of oats with milk and eat that with a glass of matcha lemon water, to boost my metabolism.

For lunch I eat two pieces of rye bread, with some lunch meat (either ham or salami), avocado and a couple of carrots. With this I drink water.

For dinner I cut about 400 g. of potatoes into fries, sprinkle them with some spices and oven roast them for about 30 minutes. With this I drink water. Some nights I might make two slices of avocado toast with an eggs on top instead.

For a snack if I have a sweet tooth in the evening, I either spread some peanut butter on a rice cracker and add some slices of banana on top or make nicecream (frozen bananas blended into ice cream).



WHAT I EAT ON THE WEEKEND:
On the weekends I mostly try to eat the same things as I do throughout the week. Sometimes I switch things up a little bit, I still eat the same for breakfast, but some days I drink an iced latte with that. For lunch I sometimes make avocado toast instead and for dinner I sometimes eat out and other times make a pasta dish.
The weekend is the most difficult time for me to eat healthy, especially if I'm hanging out with friends and family. Sometimes you just have to eat some of the things you love to stay sane, but I try to eat smaller portions of the not-so-healthy things or choose healthier alternatives, like this vegetarian burger below.
