HOW TO | DAISY NAIL DESIGN

Want to know how I created this nail design? Then keep on reading and I will guide you through the 4 simple steps.

First of all, a lot of the times when i do nail designs, I get inspired by a picture I stumble across. This time I saw a picture on Instragram @stephstonenails (the picture below).

These nails looked so cute, so I had to recreate them. I just used a dark blue polish instead of light blue and no rhinestones.

These are the nailpolishes I used. From the left: OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue! - Art Club White- Art Club Yellow - Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Top Coat

Step 1: Paint your nails with your choice of base color. You don't have to choose dark blue as I did, I personally just think it looks nice with the white and yellow flowers.

Step 2: Grab your white nailpolish. If you don't have a nail art polish as I was using, simply just use an old eyeliner brush, a bobby pin or a toothpick and dip it into your white polish. Then add small lines. This is where I find it helpful if I have a picture next to me, so i can see where the flowers should be placed. The easiest way to paint these flowers on, is by making a cross first and then keep on adding lines to the flower, until it's completely "leafed" (if that's a word). It's kinda the same tecnique you use when cutting a pizza! Easy peasy!

Do that on all of your nails and then it should look something like this.

And if you get nailpolish on your skin like I did, just clean it up with some nailpolish remover and a Q-tip.

Step 3: Now grab your yellow nailpolish. This time it doesn't have to be a nail art polish, you can use whichever one you want.

With a dotting tool, like the one on the picture below, or with a bobby pin or toothpick, dip it into the yellow polish and add a dot to the middle of the flower.

....and then it should look something like this. Now you only have one step left.

Step 4: Let the design dry for about 5-10 min. then apply a clear top coat and your DONE!

This is such a cute nail design for summer! If you recreate this design, please send me a picture of it on Twitter https://twitter.com/camillarumpe
